Polypropylene

Grades of polypropylene are available for fabrication processes such as extrusion, injection molding, thermoforming, blow molding, biaxially oriented film (BOPP), fiber spinning, slit tape, extrusion coating, and laminating. The physical properties and ease of processing polypropylene make it an attractive material when competing with more expensive resins in a number of demanding applications. The Flint Hills Resources polypropylene facility in Longview, Texas, is ISO 9001 certified.

Polymer Grade Propylene (PGP) from Flint Hills Resources Houston is distributed to various derivative units via our Southeast Texas pipeline network. PGP is a basic chemical building block used to produce a wide range of products including films, plastics and fibers.
